You know you love them. They make you laugh, they make you cry, and sometimes they make you feel like you're special inside.
These movies contain magic! Love! Leprosy!

Do you consider (500) Days of Summer a chick flick?

I've personally thought thats geared more towards a male audience, or at least just as much toward them as a female audience.
As for chick flicks i do enjoy, I love Mean Girls.

Do you consider (500) Days of Summer a chick flick?
I personally wouldn't. My idea of a chick flick would be a movie that's at least 70% for a "chick." The point of 500 Days of Summer was for the audience to love Zooey Deschanel as much as the main character (thought he) did. Therefore I think that movie leans towards more of a guy movie. But only slightly.
I have a soft spot for P.S. I Love You, movie makes me cry every time.

Some not so bad ones are Love Actually, The Notebook, and The Holiday.

Personally, I don't at all. I know more guys that drooled over that movie than girls.

Not a fan of chick flicks. The formula is annoying and I'm sick of predictability.

As an obvious Shakespeare buff, my all time favourite chick flick is Shakespeare in Love.

I enjoy a fair amount of chick flicks, but my favorites would have to be 80's chick flicks (e.g. Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, Say Anything), and pretty much any Hugh Grant movie.
As far as "chick flickedness," I would class (500) Days of Summer like High Fidelity.
