Sept. 14 we will know all. So stay patient, it's been confirmed.
i doubt it is before oct. 26th. They are having the nintendo sponsored Wii parties and the last one is chicago on 10/25th or 26. Why have an exclusive party after the system launched.
I know they will announcing it 9/14, just making an educated guess.

what are the launch titles?
I've heard Zelda, Metroid, and SSB, and within 3 months we'll have Red Storm and Mario
I'm hoping Wii Sports is launch too. Although I don't think I can afford the system and 3-4 games at this point

Wii is launched the same day as The Legend Of Zelda: The Twilight Princess. Also, it is supposed to cost between $200 - 300. Not sure on the release date though.

I think Nintendo confirmed that it will be less than $250. So I'm guessing between $199.99-249.99.
Although I have heard Nintendo might release it for $149.99 just to stick it to Sony and Microsoft. But that's nothing more than a rumor.

If it is $150 at launch I will buy it for sure. SSBB is going to be great.

I'm buying one at launch no matter what. But the price of the console itself will dictate how many games I buy. Zelda is a given, if I can get more I'm getting Metroid for sure.

I'll probably get that down the line, mainly for multiplayer. I hope the online play is decent.

That is why i got my GC. Well not for SSBB but SSBM. the new wario ware looks excellent, as well as monkey ball. Tony Hawk has implemented the montion sensoring nicely.

Super Smash Brothers is NOT a launch title, it got delayed.
The big launch titles are Zelda, Metroid (rumour of delay though), Wii Sports, Super Monkey Ball, Red Steel, Rayman Raving Rabbits, Trauma Center, um...
Well there are close to 30 launch titles, though probably some will see delays.

Red Steel looks pretty sweet and of course zelda will take a lot of time up as well.

Except that it's not a new Trauma Center :( it's a "wiimake" of the DS one.
Basically same missions, same story, but I think one or two new tools thrown into the mix and a whole new chapter.
