Still pissed this isn't coming to WA. The closet chance I get to see Norma Jean would be some festival coming to WA, but it's not worth the drive. LAME

alright, here is the run down

Columbia, MO

Cancer Bats:
(no fucking clue what they opened with, probably off the 1st record)
Dead Wrong
Sleep This Away
Lucifer's Rocking Chair
Sorceress
Fake Gold
Sabotage
Hail Destroyer

Not in order, and I may be missing 1 or 2 songs. They played great, but Liam's vocals were hard to hear at times.

Norma Jean:
Vipers, Snakes & Actors
(song off of Reedemer; I think Songs Sound Much Sadder, but I don't remember)
Bayonetwork
Creating Something Out Of Nothing, Only to Destroy It
New song (I think he said it was called Anthem or something)
A Small Spark vs. A Great Forest
Memphis Will be Laid to Waste

I know I'm missing a few songs from their set, but I just can't think of them. Also, this is in semi-order. They killed their set and the crowd was wild. Cory yelled at a fan who was requesting a song saying "we're a band not a jukebox." Which I support, but it seems like he got pretty pissed. Nonetheless, best Norma Jean set I've seen in a while.

Every Time I Die:
Roman Holiday
Marvelous Slut
Apocalypse Now And Then
No Son of Mine
Wanderlust
Kill The Music
New Black
Bored Stiff
For the Record
Who Invited The Russian Soldier
xxxbuffalo666xxx
She's My Rushmore
Floater
Diablo (which is After One Quarter of a Revolution)
I've Been Gone A Long Time
We'rewolf
Ebolarama

Buffalo 666 was on the setlist but was crossed out. Pretty bummed about that, I think with that included it would have been a perfect setlist. I'm surprised and happy they played 4 songs from Hot Damn!, a little more surprising is they only played 2 from The Big Dirty. But they were stellar. I think the setlist was awesome, and I'm happy they played I've Been Gone A Long Time. This setlist is in order, btw. No encore. We were in a TINY venue with no barricade, so stage diving galore from both fans and band members. If anyone's interested Jordan's screenprinted posters were $20. The Cancer Bats had a deal where you could get a t-shirt and CD for $20, I thought that was a really good deal. Overall, one of the best shows I've ever been to. The sound was great (with the exception of Liam's vocals for the Cancer Bats) and the bands were really into it, as well.

The show in Columbia was really fun. Cancer Bats were good. Norma Jean was not my cup of tea, but they put on a decent show. Every Time I Die put on the best show I've seen in a while. I liked how Keith demanded that everyone in the audience stage dive at least once.

ETID always has the same set. If anything they change up the Hot Damn songs they play and that's only really a package of five different songs.

I really can't complain about them playing the same set every time just because they play just about all of my favorites, although I would like to hear some more off of The Big Dirty.

ETID gets better every time i see them. they actually played buffallo 666 for us. Norma Jean was amazing even tho i was somewhat dissappointed they only played one or two song from the new album. Cancer Bats the vocalist was just bad and but i hadnt really heard anything of them before.

This was also my first show out of Houston and i was excited to se how the atmosphere was somewhere else(New Orleans). I was completely dissappointed. I saw one person crowd surf the whole time. the pit was just a bunch of guys juping up and down slightly bumping into each other. This is the first show i have been to where i didnt see anyone break a nose or have something busted open.

and Cory mentioned some side project with Keith and said that he would explain more during their performance but they never did so who knows?

BareBonesMusic.com talked to Liam, lead singer of the Canadian hardcore band Cancer Bats. Agent eX talked to the front man about their newly released third album "Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones" and how it differs musically and lyrically from their debut release. Liam also talks about the reasoning behind the new album's name and their band's name, their involvement in their music videos and their ties with their punk roots. Finally Liam speaks about his straight edge life style and talks about the song "Trust No One" and how it hits home for the band.

BareBonesMusic.com (http://www.BareBonesMusic.com) caught up with Andy Williams and Jordan Buckley of EVERY TIME I DIE prior to a show recently. Evil G. spoke with the guys about their current record New Junk Aesthetic, the video for Wanderlust, how they like to change up the audiences they play for from metal to punk and alternative and finally some of the wildest stories from the road. One story confirmed from Louisville, KY back in April of 2010 when a fan from the audience who had a prosthetic leg was brought up on stage and had the leg filled with beer and who drank out of it. Plus a show in Fort Wayne, IN where Andy says, "with my own eyes, right in front of me, I saw a garbage can get crowd road, it fell and then a girl fell into the garbage can." Plus other wild stories, how "there's a fine line between metal and pro wrestling," and live footage from the show!
