i woke up at six this morning to get a wristband to MAYBE get season tickets for uconn basketball this weekend. last year at hofstra i could go to the arena on game day and get good tickets. fucking big schools who are good at basketball....

anyone else have a similar situation?

here at Nova, theres like 4-5 lotteries throughout the season, and each includes like 2-4 games. if you go to the games and swipe your wildcard, you get credit for going, thus have a better shot at winning in the next lottery

i actually went to the game my freshman year (2 years ago) @ UConn, with the jay wright/charlie villaneuva/ref incident


we'll prob try and get tix again. sucks were not playing you guys here this year...the game last year was fucking INSSANE. there were 20k+ at the wachovia center. it was the loudest sporting event ive ever been to, minus the devils winning the cup in 03

why they hell did you get up at 6 to get tickets? thats possibly the dumbest thing ive heard. When you get the wrist band doesnt matter, its all random. And the whole ticket process this year is absolutely retarded, they completely did away with camping out outside of gampel in order to get tickets. Completely rediculous

they started handing them out at 7 i had a lab at 8 so i figured why not be up anyway. i went to south to eat afterwards and made it to my lab w/plenty of time.

theyre ok. Its better than a dorm and youre basically allowed to do whatever you want. But there not even close to Hilltop or Charter Oak apartments
