Anyone heard of them? Good band to check out: their kinda of a typical post-hardcore, scream, sing, but the singer's voice is amazing.

Anyway, the new album leaked online and I was wondering if anyone else heard it. Spoilers: It has only one song with screaming.

Yes excellent band from Australia WA and seen them many time. If you really like the screaming you should try and get the EP. There is some excellent stuff. Ant just to let you know the album has two songs they scream in.

After listening to the entire album, it makes me almost want to say that the screamer and original singer left. Probably not, but its weird how the original singer is sprinkled throughout the songs (see their new song on their myspace)

their newest album is almost nothing like their EP, there's almost no screaming and it has a more ambient feel
so if you like that kind of stuff check out their full length

I've only heard the EP and I liked it a lot. I did like the singer better than the screamer though so I'm gonna have to give the full length a try

Has anyone listened to Whispers & Fragments yet? I'm curious what other people think about it.

I really loved the Seizure EP. I'm kind of disappointed only 2 songs have screams on the new album. The album has been growing on me though. I like all of the songs besides a few.

Listening to the Seizure EP, the screamer sounds a lot like anthony green when he was in saosin, imo.

Ya that's what I thought also. He sounds more like the screamer from Emery imo.

Finally bought the CD and I have to say I really like it. Its a more mature/focused record. I really like the ambient side to it also I feel that the screaming is better placed and it kind of builds into the song structure better. While there is significantly less screaming the parts where there are make the song really explode. Also the screamer kind of reminds me of the guy from Emery.

O hai thread.

This worries me just a little, I didn't want Whispers and Fragments only six months ago. I also think Seizure sucks, and I never actually purchased it. Thankfully this is because I didn't give either of them a proper listen. So maybe I'm just a little freaked out for no reason, haha.

He was a huge element of what made this band good. I hope they find a good replacement.

Lower pitched one that does all the singing on the EP. I don't know the chick's name but she also plays keys.

His voice was the most unique easily. Whispers & Fragments is still in my rotation heavily.

You diggin it? I know that you enjoyed Whispers & Fragments based on the review for it. This song is a nice continuation of what I loved on that album.

I submitted this in the news queue. They could definitely use some exposure.

Of course I love it! I miss all the secondary instrumentation and the uncleans though.

I'm kinda busy now, but I'll get to it tomorrow probably.
