I am going to be sitting down with the guys of This Providence (http://www.thisprovidence.com) next thursday for an interview. Please leave any questions that you have for the band in the replies and I will do my best to get everything answered. Remember to pick up their self titled album "This Providence" on September 12th.

ask them if they feel stupid for asking fans to bring them cell phones.... you can get cell phones for like 20 bucks now, why not just use merch money to buy a new one instead of posting blogs or whatever asking fans to buy them. ticket sales, merch sales and cd sales arent enough they have to ask for cell phones now? whats next, gas money....

Paul's story is pretty simple...he felt God was calling him to go in a different direction in his life, so he left.

I'm not trying to be an ass but seriously I would like to know. Is there a certain reason for there album emulating Gatsbys American Dream. I understand that they're friends but did it come to mind that alot of their songs on the new album sounds a lot like Gatsby's. And what do they think of their label mates Forgive Durden, do they see the similarities between them?
Ask how they feel about the constant comparisons to Gatsby, and thier labelmates P!ATD and FOB.

I'd like to know how they feel their new album compares to Our Worlds Divorce. I'd also like to know what song means the most to them on their new album.

Are you afraid that being on Fueled By Ramen is gonna hurt the band because of society's disgust with Pete Wentz?

Ask them their feelings (or if they even notice) that every band from Washington these days says they are from Seattle, when in fact, they're from surrounding areas (this is only something I would ask, since I'm from there and have known about TP for years now).
Also, ask them how they feel about the Seattle scene in general and being one of the most recent successes to go to a respected (and fairly big) indie label with good friends Forgive Durden.

I realise you may not ask this, but us UK kids would love to know if there are any plans for them to come over.
They seem to be the only FBR-band who haven't been here in recent months, perhaps to some extent due to recording etc.

I heard they were being pursued pretty heavily by Tooth and Nail for quite sometime, ask them why they wouldn't sign to an openly christian label? Also ask them how FBR has been, and how well they received the new record having the religious lyrical references it has. Also ask them if it's true that there's a crucifix hidden in the back of their first EP artwork, and why?
