he can pull the stunts but he has absolutely no suave and pinache whatsoever which is what sean connery and pierce had. he has absolutely no likability about him and the typical bond way of speaking sounds forced and awful.

Otherwise, October 4 is the start of rerurns, from the very beginning all the way to the series finale, on ABC Family. Like 6/5c.

I have faith Casino Royale will be good. Its directed by the same guy who directed Goldeneye which is one of my favourites and it looks way more gritty and realistic than the last few. I think this is definitely the direction bond films needs to go after the crock of shit that was 'Die Another Day' (whoever thought up the idea of Bond having an invisible car deserves a hard punch to the balls).

True...though Brosnan had too much of that and not enough acting talent within his stint to actually convince me he was a super agent, and not just some wanna-be trying to get laid under the calling card.

Plus, within the premise of the movie, Daniel Craig is not neccesarily supposed to be perfect, as Bond's in the past were, because it's his first mission. Watch the trailer, he's set as the protagonist, but less as the "hero" of all things and more like a man who is going to end up playing both sides, which Daniel Craig is perfect for.

Lets face it, the old Bond is played out...they ran out of good ideas, and so now they have to re-invent him as a hero...much as they have now with the Superman and Batman movies.

this seems to be following in the footsteps of Mission: Impossible III, where it's not really a traditional "spy" movie, its more of a thriller exposing the main character's more brutal side. i think its cool!
