I don't think it's a matter of life sucks or life doesn't suck. I'm only 19 years old so I can't say how my life will be in 5, 10 years. I know that if you're 19 (or less, or more) years old you can't pretend that the world spin (or people act) the way you want. If you think your life sucks, do something to change it. If you think your life doesn't suck, don't complain about it and enjoy what you have. There will always be problems and difficulties on your way, but they can't keep you away from what you want to be or do, and probably no one will always be there to give you the answers you need. So, keep on living and see what's next. Nothing is forever.

Go out and find someone. This is exactly how I used to feel, too. My social life was screwed because I was branded "unpopular" at my old school, and in a tiny town like that, if you're at the bottom of the popularity food chain you don't make many friends. One day I felt really lonely and I got sick of feeling that way, so I decided to use the internet to make friends, since I couldn't really reach out to anyone where I lived at the time. Since then I've had the opportunity to move to a new place and make a ton of new friends, but I'm grateful to still have all my online friends to get me through that rough period of my life. (and I'm dating one of them ;-))

It's going great. She was actually my first online friend, we've known each other since I was 14. We're at two and a half years, going on three. It takes a lot of patience, and honesty is key, but if you're diligent it'll all work out just fine. We plan on meeting up after I go on my mission, which will be a couple years from now (I should be leaving in the near future once I get my papers in). It helps a lot that we're both Mormons.

We haven't actually met in person yet, haha. That's the plan. But we do talk every day, and we talk on the phone quite often. So it's not really completely based on the internet, and we do plan on seeing each other in person. (and eventually getting married, we're close enough in our relationship right now to say that ;-))

Yeah I know, sometimes they care about you only because they want something from you and, after they got it, they leave you alone. It's that shitty. But if you keep watching how people act, you'll never learn how to save yourself and create a life that you can call your own. yeah, im trying. im shy and have low self esteem so putting myself out there and trying new things is hard for me. but i am trying to get out and meet new people. i joined the local footy club and its been the best thing i could have done. its the only thing that's keeping me going at the moment.

Life doesn't suck altogether, sometimes certain moments in life suck. Life is worse for some people. We just have to remember that there are people in worse positions than us. We are privileged to live in North America/ Europe... Let's all just keep this in mid. And also, if you're stuck in a rut, life can and WILL get better if you just keep moving through it. Trust me on this one. I might not have said anything new to anyone, but its good to reinforce these points. Sometimes we forget...
I'm not voting because it really isn't either of those things.

You just gotta keep holding on (cheesy, I know). But, its the truth. Its easier said than done. Never underestimate yourself, you're more awesome than you think. And also, alcohol won't help at all. It will only make matters worse. its a depressant (don't know if you're depressed or not). I wouldn't ever advice the use of alcohol, but it is best to keep the use of it at a minimum. Hope this helps...

I stopped caring about consequences of stuff down the road and I don't really think about the future. For some reason I lost my competitive drive that helped me want to be the best in school and I lost my conscience when it comes to some things. So yeah, life isn't too bad right now because I just don't give a fuck. It could get ugly in the future and that kind of scares me, so I just do the easy thing and don't think about it. I'm a pretty bad person when it comes to that haha.

See, that's what YOU think. That's not necessarily true. Everyone has something to bring to the table. And most people don't have EXTRAORDINARY talents. Its negative thinking on your part. Thats something I also need to work on a bit as well.

and just the general screw it attitude works sometimes but after a while it gets depressing. I have learned that through experience.
Nothing seems to go right for me but ya know maybe it's just some people that have all the 'luck'. I have yet to figure out how life works but when I do i'll be sure to let you know =). Why are people so over dramatic? Just because your life sucks, it doesn't mean everyone else's doesn't. Whenever I feel like crap, I think about all the things I have, that other people don't. If your life sucks because you've just been dumped, remember it's better to have loved and lost, than to not love at all.
You have to look forward. I make regrets and whatnot, but I try my hardest to move on and carry on going with life, that's the best way.

Thanks :) I wish I knew how life worked... It'd be less frustrating if I did. Well my family is very religious and honestly it keeps you hoping but I guess at the end of the day it's all to do with how well you cope with this shit and not how well praying helps you.
Pretending like it doesn't matter hasn't really helped me, avoiding it is even worse.
