I saw a poll that's title led me to believe it was this exact same thing. When it turned out it wasn't I decided I would start one. So what is your favorite album from this fantastic band? Basically I guess we are also voting on your favorite female vocalist, because each album has a different one.

I had to go with ABVOTRS. Kerri Mack's voice is just brilliant and the album just has a really great feel to it. They created their own special sound and never veered to far from it while still finding ways to experiment and give their fans a new experience with each album. My favorite tracks are Garden of Evil and Grace, each for completely different reasons.

On the Run had probably the most stand out tracks (Winds of Change, 4 AM Conversations) but as a whole I enjoyed the previous.

Notes From the Underground still managed to be a great album despite countless line up changes and the constant fear of the band breaking up. In my opinion Arthi Meera just didn't cut it like their two previous vocalists. She was a good addition to the band with her many instrument talents, but her voice never clicked with me. Still a very strong album, however. My standout would be Don't Hold Your Breath (Which reminds me so much of Bright Eyes' Four Winds, despite them having very little resemblance).

I think On the Run is my favorite.
4AM Conversation made that record for me, amazing track.
And I can see the album as a concept album kind of, something about it makes me see it on the stage.

All their records play well from beginning to end. I connect most with On the Run. It has the most poignancy for me.

I went with their debut, I really did not like On The Run and have not listened to the newest

I enjoyed their most recent but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who didn't like On the Run. It's basically a more focused On the Run.

Lonesome Crowded West

Is this a reference to Modest Mouse? In which case are you insulting 1997 for sounding like them?

Yes modest mouse, but lol not insulting anybody. I just came into this thread expecting it to be about the year 1997. And i was planning on saying lonesome crowded west, but once i entered i realized that it was the band 1997. However i decided to post the same thing even though it's irrelevant.
