Anybody remember this bad boy?

The Rock was so much better when he had no fans haha.

skankinbri
09/09/06, 03:16 PM
That's not old school.

Old school was in the late 80's / early 90's when my dad and I used to watch WWF.

xglassjawx
09/09/06, 03:18 PM
The Rock's music was also cooler then haha.

this was when he kept beating him over the head with the chair in front of foley's family.

xglassjawx
09/09/06, 03:22 PM
He turned it to a bit of an ass didn't he? I haven't watch it in a few years now though. I just got out a few old videos of it and that, I'm trying to kill a bit of time before the footy.

Mankind was where it was at. Old Kane too where he was in a terrible fire and couldn't speak anymore, before he was miraculously cured of all his scars and can talk like a normal person.

That was totally badass.

The guy who then went on to be with Nash? God, he was one ugly fucker. Then he went to *s******* WCW. Goldberg was the only good thing ever to come from that place.

Scott Hall. He actually became a serious liability to the WCW. He was, at almost all times, too inebriated to properly wrestle. He couldn't remember the gameplan for the matches, so his opponents were actually becoming seriously injured from Hall not playing along.

But Razor Ramon was awesome. The Razor's Edge was a super bad ass move. Hey yo.

And Kane was better as a dentist.

I remember Kane won the title at King of the Ring then lost it the night after on Raw. Poor Kane, always being screwed over.

For me old WWF is like 1997-2000. Those were the years I watched it most. After that I watched casually.

I watched it from like 2000-2003. I only casually check up on it now and again now. I loved the WCW/ECW V WWF Alliance days, I wanted the Alliance to win though. :( And a year or so before that when Shane O Mac was a badass and Hardcore champion and actually had balls. He was great back then.

I think the Invasion thing was my favorite part of the WWE/WWF/whatever. I don't know why, I loved it though.

The best moment was when everyone on the WWE team thought Stone Cold abandoned them and he was in the bar that night or whatever drinking away his confusion, then he said screw it and left the bar. Then the later on, the ECW/WCW was kicking the WWE's ass in the arena when you see Stone Cold's truck drive into the parking lot. He runs through the arena and then Stone Cold's theme hits, everyone is going nuts, he runs out and dishes out like literally 11 or 12 stunners (Billy Kidman got it twice).

Even though it was staged, it still gave me goosebumps.

My favourite matches to this date and i belive any wrestling fan should see are:
- Edge and Christian (best tag team ever) vs Hardyz (when they were good) in a ladder match at no mercy 99. That match basically made these two teams.

- Any Chris Benoit vs Kurt Angle Match
- Bret Hart vs HBK Ironman match
- Cactus Jack vs HHH Streetfight 2000 royal rumble

- Scotty 2 Hotty vs Dean Malenko (i think it was wrestlemania 2000)
- Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage
- Mankind vs Taker hell in a cell
- Mankind vs taker buried alive
- Rock vs stone cold wrestlemania XV
- Brock vs Angle
- Rock'n'sock vs Batista, flair and orton

The thing that made that Angle/Shane match so sick was when Angle tried to suplex Shane into the glass, it didnt break. Then he tried again, and it still didnt break. That must have KILLED Shane

But yeah, Shane-o is awesome just for the amount of insane risks he's taken in the numerous matches with Kane, Big Show, Vince, Angle, Test, etc.

Did shane actually really wrestle? Maybe taht was a little after my time.

I agree with the Dudleys/Edge and Christian/Hardy Boyz TLC match. The whole time I was awestruck. It's all about things you've never seen before. "Oh damn, what's he gonna do with two ladders?" Those types of matches make history.
Haha...exactly. Add in taht one ladder was like 20 feet high or something stupid like that...they were triple stacking tables so that those guys could still attempt to stand after each move
