Just watched it today (in blu-ray woohoo!). I think it might be the best terminator to date. agree/disagree/dutch rudder?

care to explain? As per the usual christian bale adds so much flavor to the screen. I thought the guy who played marcus did pretty well, although it wasn't a really demanding role. Kyle Reese was way too wimpy, though. But really the action scenes were intense and clever, and the plot wasn't some copy & paste hollywood bullshit either.

Meh...definitely not the best, in my opinion. Didn't think it was a terrible movie or anything, but I really think they would have been better off dropping the franchise after T2.

I think the consensus is that Bale played a pretty poor, rather safe/bland John Connor, which is something that I definitely agree with.

This movie was so damn loud when I saw it in theater I hated it. I mean, I love movies that are loud when need be, but it seemed like every time some type of machine was nearby it was the loudest thing i've ever heard and Christian Bale yelled almost all of his lines. The only part I really liked about this movie was the opening attack on the skynet facility. That part felt like an actual battle in a war movie and it was pretty bad ass.

Actually just saw this for the first time two days ago on DirectTV.

Just a mindless action flick to me.. Decent.
