According to this MTV article (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1540551/20060908/panic_at_the_disco.jhtml?headlines= true), the next and final Panic! At The Disco (http://www.absolutepunk.net/panicatthedisco) single will be "Build God Then We'll Talk."

It's one of my favorites off the album, but I'd think "The Only Difference..." or "Time To Dance" would make better singles. I don't know why, but I'd love to see a video for the demo version of "Nails For Breakfast, Tacks For Snacks"

I like how all of their singles are from the second half of the album.
they are pushing for the more vauldiville sound than the electronic it seems. see: that bunch of people that toured with them lately

i love this song. fantastically fun and the video better be awesome.
as for "the only difference..." well, kroq in l.a. played that before any other panic song. you would think they wouldn't, but they did. needless to say, i got sick of that song faster than you can say the title.

I like the demo of that song. I don't like the album version at all really.
I like Build God, Then We'll Talk. Probably one of my favorites from the album.

Yeah, I figured Time To Dance was gonna be the first single o_O
"boys'll be boys, baby!"
it's definitely the best song on the album. i'm curious to see how literally they'll take the lyrics in the video.

No matter what song they chose it would be a good choice, although this is my overall favorite asong on the album. I still think The Only Difference... or London Beckoned or Time to Dance would have been awesome choices too. Whatever works is good though.

:shrugs: I saw the making the video on their last one and I don't think any of them smiled once or told any jokes or anything, they seemed so serious....and then I remembered what their music sounded like. Anyways good for them, best of luck.
strange how they didnt reelise time to dance. that wuda been a more suitable song to bring out.

Great song, but good single? Hmm...
yeah that's what i'm thinking too. the song is a really great one, but i can't see this being all over the radio and mtv, where most of their singles wound up. with the exception of "lying is the most fun..." that one didn't go over too big?

i like this song, but it's quite different for being a single. we'll see how it goes.
this song is my favorite but they have to be dumb for not releasing "the only difference..." as a single. it would sell them even more cd's
it was their first single [i think], just not a video.
they did sell more cds because of that song. it was the song that got everyone "hooked".

This is also one of the better songs that they perform live. I'm excited for this.
AMAZING lyrical content for this song
" Tonight tenants range from: a lawyer and a virgin
Accessorizing with a rosary tucked inside her lingerie
(She's getting a job at the firm come Monday)
The Mrs. will stay with the cheating attorney
Moonlighting aside, she really needs his money
Oh what a wonderful caricature of intimacy"

But I agree, great song... but a great single? Not really. Not a radio play song. Don't radio play songs help sell more albums? I know that's selling out, and I know that's not what they're going for... but singles are supposed to be solid songs that will appeal on mass level right? To help sell more CDs. I mean that's the ultimate goal, to get your music out to as many people possible. I know we all agree that this song is a great song, but many of us have already said that this song doesn't work for radio. Singles aren't meant as a way to show their daring, creative, and clever song writing skills. There's been tons of great songs from many artists over the years that never get released, simply because the song wouldn't help the sales of the album. I think it's very generous of FBR/DECAY to let them release this song as a single. But as many have already said, I would've thought The Only Difference would have been their next single, especially a remix of this song appeared on the Snakes on a Plane soundtrack. Much more of a "catchier" tune. I digress, as much as there are some Panic! haters out there, this was one of the best albums of 2005/2006.
lying.. and the only difference have been singles too, just without videos, so their's no guarantee this will have a video either
The Only Difference was a single? Since when? I've heard it get some radio play, but I don't think it was ever an official single from the album. So if I'm right, weren't these the official singles?

Also... I was very happy to read this:
"We've all been a bit more creative lately," Ross said. "I know as far as I'm concerned, I'm getting really excited about writing, and I'm taking guitar and vocal lessons."
Because to be honest, he admittedly knows he can't sing. He didn't sing before this whole band got started. But great production will make ANYONE sound amazing on albums. Even n00bs.

The Only Difference was played on XM, Sirius, and a number of indie stations way before I Write Sins was released as a single, but it doesn't count as a single? That's kind of weird.
Anyways, they should have done Time to Dance or Camisado, but if you've seen how horrid the performance of Time to Dance is live, that may be part of the reason why. I was thrilled to hear it at Lolla and I walked around from the stage in the middle of it. The vocals were pathetic and almost not there at times while Brendan caught his breath and the instrumentation was bland as well.
