Central Floridians My Getaway (http://myspace.com/mygetaway) and Dave Melillo (http://myspace.com/davidmelillo) will be pairing up for a handful of tour dates soon. MGA have finished recording their debut record and will be shopping it to labels in the near future.October 4th - State College, PA @ Java Coffeehouse (6 PM)
October 5th - South Hackensack, NJ @ School of Rock (7 PM)
October 6th - Amityville, NY @ Village Pub South (5:30 PM)
October 7th - Westport, CT @ Torquet Hall (6 PM)

since they're from florida shouldn't they have at least one florida date?
i don't care about MGA as much as i do melillo.

i don't care about MGA as much as i do melillo.Dave's touring with Hellogoodbye in November-ish and he just played a few dates down here in mid-August.

I agree, I saw them a while ago when they did a tour in january, they are way better live then the demos on their mypsace. Cant wait to hear the new songs...

I think MyGetaway's music would be good if they wrote it in 99', but then again they have been a band for quite sometime trying to get things right so i respect them. they just need to get ahead of the game instead of 7 years behind. plus they give off some creepy kind of oompa loompa vibe.
