The Deftones (http://www.deftones.com) recently shot a video for their new single "Hole In The Earth" in New York with director Brian Lazzaro (Coheed And Cambria, Mest). The band expect the video to be available for viewing in around two weeks time.In the mean time, an eCard for the group's new album "Saturday Night Wrist" is available online here (http://www.hyfntrak.com/deftones/AFF26929/).

The Deftones happen to be one of the most influential bands of the last ten years I think. I can't wait to hear the new record.

the new song soungs surprisingly good. their last effort kind of fell short in the expectations catagory. but this one already sounds better. it reminds me of how they used to sound, and thats a good thing.
and they really are one of the most influential bands to come out in the last ten years. i thought everyone loved the deftones at one time or another.

there is a link to a really good interview over at theprp.com that is with the fourth and final producer who worked with chino. its very in depth. for one the version of "beware the water" that everyone has is complete crap from what the producer is sayin. that makes me happy cause i thought that song wasnt structured well
