MCR has a new "ep" on Itunes, 99 cents, its the new single plus a pretty damn in-depth audio commentary about the new album with the band(minus bob) talking about each track individually and playing clips from the songs. Just a heads up for those interested.
And even though i'm a fan, i'd just like to point out much of a TOOL frankie sounds when he says that Cancer is his favorite song OF ALL TIME. A little self-absorbed?

MCR is not pop and they are definitely not posers. I think I would classify them as alternative.

MCR is not pop neither emo. It's a stereotypic label as anything else these days. They have inspirations from several genres and their theme through most of there songs is about revenge, not sadface fuckedup love.
Their new album could be described as something with a pop influence, but thats mainly cause their flirting with the mainstream audience.
