Discuss it with me.
Something like 14,000 (out of 18,100 seats) belong to season ticket/ mini-pack owners.
"Sabres Insiders" (sign up for the mailing list) get to buy individual tickets from 9 am-9 pm tonight, the general public gets the leftovers (what leftovers?) tomorrow morning.
WIsh me luck in getting 100 Level seats....I think I may be in luck, because while everyone else goes hogwild over Leafs games, I'll be busy picking up tickets to a Wednesday night Senators and Thursday night Oilers game.

it's probably going to be impossible to get penguin tickets again.

Let's put it this way:
People around here didn't caree about the Sabres last year. I bought tickets for a Sabres-Flyers game in February like, a week before the game.
This year, it's get them now, or pay $300 on eBay.
I'm a sad panda.

Preseason game.
Next year, I'm either splitting seasons with a group of people, or getting my own mini-pack. Fuck this single game shit.

Umm because they finally realized that the Bills suck, and therefore decided to spend their money on the Sabres instead.
....Seriously.
But more often than not, the 6,000 "new" season ticket holders are a bunch of people who were going to 5, 10, 20, whatever games last year anyways, and went balls to the wall this time because they KNOW that this owner is committed to: 1) winning 2)Buffalo.

hahaha fair enough then. I didn't think they made any big offseason moves or got a new arena so I was wondering why the interest is so high.

Maybe the new Devils arena will have like 500 seats. That way they could create a demand.

actually, the new arena will have like 2000 or so less seats (i think) than the CAA, which is one of the bigger arenas. so that helps with % capacity
