oooohhh, i allmost forgot, on my way to work I was listening to Jim Rome, he had Carson Palmer as a guest, and was talking about the USC-NEB game.
Twoards the end of the interview Palmer said, something along the lines of "Yea, i havn't heard from those guys in a while, i actually forgot they had a football team".
I hope Nebraska shocks the world.

I know plenty about college football thank you very much...and during that run didn't Nebraska and USC both have two titles...and each had a split title? I'm just messing with you though...they did have a pretty sick run..I'll give you credit. I'm a Callahan fan as well but I just don't see Nebraska challenging USC...at least not yet...

USC beat up on an extremely overhyped Arkansas team and are being being a contender for the National Championship again, which I think is ridiculous. Nebraska hasn't beat anyone of importance. Like many games this weekend...it features two good teams, potentially top tier teams, but so far unproven.

I think people read way too much into that game, much like when Texas beat North Texas and Penn St. beat Akron. I don't think that Arkansas is god awful, but they have so many problems right now, it's hard to consider them a very a respectable win. At least for now.

...did he say something wrong in that statement? I know you don't like USC, but honestly, what year was Nebraska football relevent? Like... half a decade ago.

Yea I didn't mention that (I'm a huge Miami fan) because I figured people would probably say 'oh that was 20 some odd years ago.' But it reallly was a great run that should be mentoined. I'm glad a Notre Dame fan gives Miami credit :)
