1. How did you get your band name?
The journal that James and I (zac) first started writing songs in had lite blue pages.
2. How did this band get started?
I was the president of the song writing club at berklee college of music and James came in and asked if he could show me some songs after a meeting. I liked his tunes and told him if he ever needed someone to sing over them I'd be down. We started trading ideas back and forth and decided to record an album together.
3. What bands are you influenced by?
We love the beatles, coldplay and radiohead, but we really got into electronic music for our new album, night hawke. A lot of justice, frankmusic, and data was being played in the tour van.
4. If you could tour with any bands, past or present, who would it be and why?
The beatles would be the headliners for obvious reasons. Wings would be direct support, we would be second opener, and Paul and Linda McCartney would open the set.
5. If you were a furry, what animal would you be? Why that animal?
A furry animal? I would then be a grizzly bear because my patience and strength are both impecable.
6. Why should people listen to your band?
Because last I checked, people like to party.
7. If you were chosen to be in Guitar Hero/Rock Band, what song would you want in the game? How hard do you think it would be to five-star on expert?
I've been playing guitar hero for years now and I still suck at 5 start expert so I imagine it would be quite difficult. As far as what song would be most suitable for the game, I'd definitely say "say it again". There's a gnarly guitar solo at the end that everyone would fail at.
8. If you won a Grammy, who would you thank?
Paul McCartney. Maybe Linda too.
9. If you could change something about the music industry, what would it be?
MTV would only play music again.
10. Memorable tour experience?
This past tour with Cash Cash, we were in Chicago and these 2 guys dressed as the joker jumped out of a car and punched me in the face. They quickly got back in the car and drove off.
11. What does AP.net mean to you?
Ap.net is a great online spot to find out what's going on in good music. I wish they had more nudy pics though.
12. What is your favorite song to play?
Lil mama usually gets the crowd going pretty crazy. Eleanor rigby is a close second.
13. What is your vacation spot of choice?
Los Angeles and Israel. My two home lands.
14. What music reminds you of your childhood?
A lot of motown and a lot of classic rock. My mom took me to see bob Dylan in the 5th grade so I was raised by hippies.
15. If you could have any super power, what would it be? Why?
Flying. Hands down the most bad ass.
16. Do you feel that your band has "made it"?
No. Until we have a number 1 single we have not "made it".
17. What is something that most fans don't know about you?
Our drummer, matt, was raised by a pack of savage wolves.
18. What's your favorite holiday?
My birthday. It's the only one that complete revolves around me.
19. What do you like to do in your spare time?
Ride bicycles, eat chipotle, go swimming, and watch die antwoord videos on YouTube.
20. What kind of hidden talents do you have?
My goal for the summer is to learn how to do a back flip. Check in with me at the end of the summer.
