Alright let me explain this craziness. So today i had to go to Utica NY to get my Peavey Amp fixed at an authorized dealer yada yada... So i'm coming from the Syracuse Area and don't know my way around too well and use my iphone for directions and wear down my battery. so after i drop the amp off i looked up the closest AT&T store to pick up a car charger b/c i don't have one and i'm in the red zone and i see their is a store in the New Hartford area. So its about 12:45 or so and i'm almost to the store when i see a 5 guys burgers 1/4 mile from the AT&T store...which i fucking love and was hungry so i said what the hell....ill stop and get a cheeseburger. after i eat i go to leave and see all these cops flying by and as i drive down they blocked the whole street off with like 8 cop cars so i'm wondering wtf is going on i took a detour and ended up just gettin back on i-90 and going home. figured it was just easier to go to a different store. When i got home I checked syracuse.com and my jaw just about dropped when i saw their was a shooting at THAT AT&T store just before 1:00. it got me thinking if i didn't stop to eat a damn cheeseburger I would have been in that store around the time of the shooting...fucked up

yes...it was really good. not sure if you have a 5 guys in your area but they are awesome. i've been to one in the Albany area and loved it so much i couldn't pass up driving out 40 miles to get an amp repaired and not getting a burger at this place.

yeah the suspect was shot dead and he shot at a civilian who was injured by gunfire. but i sure as hell wouldn't want to be in a store with a screwed up guy with a gun. who knows what could have happened. people were fleeting to a Harley Davidson dealer across the street when they heard gunfire according to the news report on tv.

I agree that this is a pretty neat story and I am happy you are okay, but to say it was gods doing is pretty crazy in my mind. If god made you stop to get a cheeseburger to not get hurt why wouldn't he make the person who got wounded bend over to pick up a cheeseburger when the bullet was coming at them, and also make the probably mentally unstable man stop and eat a delicious cheeseburger and realize he doesn't want to go through with his plan and doesn't end up hurting anyone and doesn't get killed.

Its just frustrating that whenever something positive happens people say its god's miracle, but whenever something really negative happens (i.e. a child dying, etc) people say oh god has a plan for him.
