I like all of his movies up until H2. He really went off the rails on that one. Devil's Rejects is a horror movie. definately his best.

The Haunted Wold of El Superbeasto is an undiscovered masterpiece. The Soundtrack by Hard N Phirm is genius!

House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects are quality movies. Love 'em.

I despise this man.

This times some number I just made up. He's so overrated, but he just so happens to appeal in every way to the mindless Hot Topic age group. So he gets to continue making movies.

Prefer his music to all his crappy movies.

I liked House, Rejects, and Halloween. Wasn't too fond of H2, especially since he killed off Annie.

The Devil's Rejects was the only movie I like that he made.

I pretty much only like "Freebird" at the end of rejects.

idk man im pretty torn between 1000 corpses and devils rejects. but i picked 1000 corpses because i appreciate it's lower budget campy vibe and the fact that rainn wilson was turned into a fish boy.

I find Halloween and Halloween 2 very compelling. The characters are really strong. The second one was so half assed though, you can see it and feel it while viewing. Listening to the commentary, Zombie also refers to how a lot of it, scene wise and idea wise, was improvised while filming already. But perhaps the thing that most bothers me is the end of the second movie, where Loomis magically jumps from his hotel room to the shack in the field almost immediately. Had no continuity or even illustrated a reasonable passage of time.

Devil's Rejects, followed closely by House of 1000 Corpses.
