Favorite Jack Johnson album?
Also, what's your opinions on the new album that drops tomorrow? How do think that will turn out compared to his older albums?
In my opinion, nothing can beat On and On.

Sleep through the static grew on me, but on and on I picked. I just got to the sea, and it's a perfect blend of old and new. Watch the music video for you and your heart (it's so sick)

Well that's good to hear. I'll probably pick it up then. For sure.
Brushfire fairytales, itsy bitsy diamond wells, big fat hurricanes, yellow bellied given names...
Also, didn't know he had a new album coming out today!

in between dreams is not only my fave JJ album but one of my favorites of all time. I have never smiled more from music than listening to Mr. Johnson, and I have listened to IBD more than any of his others.

I've always kind of thought that all of his songs sound the same.
If I were to give him another shot where would I start?

I would say his album On and On.
But tracks specifically:
Flake, The Horizon Has Been Defeated, Taylor, Imagine, and Banana Pancakes.
I don't listen to JJ so I can't participate in this poll.
Be more inclusive, you asshole. :-(

I didn't go to college. So I never got into Jack, or got Facebook.

I voted Brushfire but then he went on to write those same songs over and over and over and over.....

so far, i actually like To The Sea the most out of everything. It leaked a week ago or so, so I've had it. Almost picked it up at Starbucks but then realized i didn't have an extra $12.95. I'll probably pick it up soon though. Sleep Through The Static is still a favorite though, along with En Concert, which you didn't list...even though it's not a studio album. I like En Concert b/c he does a lot of hits on it.

i only have On And On and In Between Dreams, but On and On is much more solid. in between dreams has some good tracks but overall isn't as strong as on and on in my opinion

Can't stand this guy. All of his songs sound the same to me, and some of my friends treat him like a god. I don't get it.

Yeah, I heard the last half is more like his older material. Is that true?

I would agree with that. From "My Little Girl" on it's more like On and On or even the Curious George album (if you were into the kiddie stuff)
