The bad boys vs nice guys thread got me thinking. Which do guys prefer, good girls or bad girls? Do you tend to go after one type of girl versus the other or is it on a case-by-case basis? If you like "bad girls", how bad is bad enough and when does it cross the line into being unappealing?

I personally have always found keeping a balance between being a "bad girl" and a "good girl" a bit of a struggle. I find innocence to be an attractive characteristic but at the same time, I've always liked to hang out with the "bad crowd" because the goody two shoes types were too boring for me. I like tattoos and piercings and other things that many "good girls" probably stay away from (i.e., drugs and until recently cigarettes) but I still look innocent, or so people tell me.

This isn't just about how one dresses by the way. So have at it, what are your thoughts?

You hit the nail on the head pretty much. I prefer the 'Mixed' option, mostly because I feel that it's good to change it up a bit. I prefer both sides, but at different times. For example, good girls can be nice as far as hanging out with friends or family, but a bad girl wouldn't be as boring and more exciting at other times. I would think that a lot of guys would prefer an edgier girl, it's just super attractive. As far as tattoos and piercings go, I definitely have a thing for a bit of that, but it really depends on the girl.

It's not as simple as that. It depends if it is enjoyable to explain to her and that comes down to basic personality. Having similar interests does help with general conversation though.

If by bad you mean things like sneaking out her window to come over at night, or things like lying to her parents to get out and see me. It shows that she cares enough to risk shit even though she knows her rents will put her on lockdown for the rest of the summer. (its happend twice to me and my gf's in the past. im bad luck).
The only bad thing that comes from that is after a while you think like "If shes this dishonest to her rents, and if it is this easy for her to make up a lie to get out to see me, what else is she doing?" Thats the hard thing to get past, and work on trust.

But yea, I voted mix of the both because "bad" makes me think of cheating and dishonesty. 2 of those things are definate no gos in a relationship.......my bad for rambling. im tired and will stop typing now

i vote mix between the two, the last girl i dated was a solid mix of the two, loved to go out party, have a good time and be very adventurous, but at the same time she was very loyal, my parents loved her, and was a helluva cook
