jonny craig sings with so much power and makes it seem effortless. he gets my vote. i really like craig owens's voice, particularly in cinematic sunrise, but his solo ep was nowhere near as good as jonny's solo album. i really didn't like anthony's voice before the new circa survive album, but it was bearable on that record. i still don't think it's as good as everyone raves about, though, and still like cove better in saosin.

but i voted for AG because he has by far my favourite discography, saosin work was great, circa is great, sound of animals is great, solo was good and his guest appearces are great

for craig i love all wells that ends well and thats about it and johny i like downtown battle mountain but not becasue of him and i think while he has a great voice he just shows off and after a few songs im bored

I agree with you completely. His voice is just high. He has no range otherwise. There are so many other vocalists that sing high like that too. ex:(Jag from A Skylit Drive). His voice just doesn't stand out much to me.

It goes like this Jonny Craig> Anthony Green> Craig Owens. More people are familiar with Anthony Green so obviously he's going win. Craig Owens is great, not really sure what to say about him...Jonny Craig however has a reputation for being a cocky jerk and is hated quite alot for that. But still, onny Craig is easily the best technical singer out of three and has the most original voice as well as bringing Soul to a scene that's over crowded with whiney high pitched counter tenors. (I.E. Anthony Green, Craig Owens, Vic Fuentes, Jag, etc)

tldr; Jonny Craig is robbed because more people are familiar with Anthony Green, as well as being hated on for his personality instead of his actual singing talent.

What are people basing their judgement on? Lyrics? Melody? Technique? Jonny has the best technique out of the three by far, but since dgd ive liked craig and anthony's melodies a lot more. Lyrically, it depends on what you like. Jonny's got the r&b lyrics, I luv you girl etc, that he throws in a blender with some angsty middle school poems that he writes. Craig straight plagiarizes writers that he likes and because of it, the lyrics are pretty good. and anthony is just a weirdo, but that's why we all love ehm, his influences are scattered, and it reflects beautifully through his words even if people dont really understand him. Hard call, but the best flat out singer, not artist, or lyricist, is jonny craig and i don't think that can be disputed by anyone who understands, even if it's just a little, how to sing.
