I just snagged a kick ass summer job working at summer camp for kids. I'll be a program administrator making 10 dollars an hour. Anyone else working this summer or just relaxing. Discuss

I am working for an answering/messaging service. It's actually a harder job than it sounds but I get good pay and hours, it's really close to my house, and everyone there is pretty nice. It sucks starting new jobs, though. I also work for ChaCha when I'm bored at home.

Thats weird, Here in Florida everyplace wants college students even if they have to work around your schedule. I have a friend who goes to class 5 days a week and got a job before me and I only have class 3 days and at more convenient times. Its like they want to show off to the higher ups that everyone in the store has their life together cause they're going to school as apposed to hiring people who have all the time in the world to work and actually want hours.

I got snubbed by my first job opportunity at a music management company, would have been really cool. I'm waiting for my second one to hopefully come through at a photography company, which would also be very cool. If not, I'm gonna be bored all summer... Maybe I'll go back to school early, or maybe just sit on my ass watching old Seinfeld.

Just got a job calling people doing surveys. Sounds like it won't be terribly exciting, but it'll be easy.

Oh, and it also pays $12.50/hr, and goes up to 14/hr once I make it to 100 hours. It's going to be so nice rubbing it in to all my friends who have been making fun of me for being lazy and not having a job for the last few months

I got a job doing delivery for this new Italian restaurant. It's pretty sick cause they pay me a little for gas and then tips are obviously good. My boss kinda freaked out at me today....but it's fine. I'm workin the dinner shift tmrw but there probably won't be any deliveries. Lunch is where its at!

I mow big fields with either a big mower or a big tractor, I ride a Gator around pretending to do stuff, I clean up trails and stuff, or I help with some research. All outside, all with my iPod in, all for $11/hr (got a $1/hr raise after a week on the job). I love my job.

Also, I got this job with 0 previous job experience and my only reference being my uncle who's a farmer.

Managed to get myself 8 days of work (1 is scanning all the books in my school's library; roughly 19,000 for the masses and masses of you that are interested. The other 4 days is working at a flower show taking plants to and fro and back again). Need some more work, will apply for proper jobs once my exams are finished.
