musically, yeah, they're nothing like glassjaw
but if you can listen to dude from Secret Lives and not hear Darryl from Glassjaw all over his voice, you're the one who could benefit from an ear cleaning

didn't they change singers after this was built to make you dance? cause he sounds the same.

Not denying that brien sounds like Daryl to a certain degree but to just say "they sound like glassjaw" or "these guys are glassjaw wannabes" is a completely ignorant statement.

when i saw them a while back brien and i talked about daryl. i think he is influenced by him, but if you listen to their last album, he definitely has his own style, and it's great.
brien also taught me a lot of awful sexual slang. it was special.

I can see the glassjaw thing a little. And yeah there are way too many bands that sound exactly the same but for some reason I like these guys a whole lot better than the rest. Song is pretty good too for a rough demo.

this was built to make you dance was def one of my fav albums of last yr. the vocals are def daryl-influenced, thats why my boy jake recommended them to me, but the music isnt gj. regardless, its great. def lookin forward to a new album and hopefully some northeast tour dates so i can see these guys live.

secret lives: simply amazing.
well put together band. Stage presence is jolting, seriously.
Sound even better live. Intellegent lyrics, and beautiful breakdowns. You CANT stand still while listening.
