Just as the dust clears in Iraq, North Korea's looking to be a problem again.

You know, Australia and America have a thing called "democracy". That means what the majority of the people want to happen will usually happen. So you probably do hate the people who elected these leaders you hate.:p

Well technically the majority didn't vote for the president/vice president/all the people he instated/came along with him.

George W Bush and VP Cheney were not elected by a majority. Well actually in 92 Clinton was not elected on a majority either, but rather a plurality. But Bush was not even elected with a plurality. SoS Powell, NSA Rice... etc... all the people in Bush's cabinet who came along for the ride wouldn't be there if Bush didn't win... so all I am saying is the idea of the US being a democracy in which the will of the majority is played out is wrong.

Actually Powell would have been in the cabinet either way I believe. But still, majority or not Bush won fair and square, we are run on an electoral college system, so by the rules Bush won.

Well he certainly wouldn't have been Sec of State, but I don't believe he would have been in Gore's cabinet as anything.

As for Bush winning fair and square... not my point at all.
