So I was talking to my lady friend this evening. And we haven't seen each other in two weeks and she asked me to visit her tomorrow. This would entail hours of hot sex. But, Hail to the Thief hits stores tomorrow and I'm planning on having an all-Radiohead day. This will entail listening to their albums from Pablo Honey to present. Most of the younger crowd here will think I am crazy for making this call, but it is Radiohead. And I can get sex any old day.

I think she's just a casual Radiohead fan. I mean, the fact is, she suggested I visit her after I mentioned my plans of listening to Thom and the boys all day. And it's not like I have to talk about anything to get her going, we have very compatible sex drives. That is to say, we go at it like wild monkeys.

I bought Slanted and Enchanted and the Slow Century DVD a couple days ago. Both are awesome.
Think about it like this.
You want to buy "Hail to the Thief" on the day it comes out because you're a hardcore Radiohead fan.
Now, there's something to be said about release day. It's a magical day that you can never experience again.
Having your Radiohead fest the day AFTER it comes out...well that's almost pointless, isn't it?
You know that any hardcore Radiohead fans will be having their fest at the exact same moment as you. There is a worldwide brotherhood at that moment.

i can't believe someone resurrected this thread. i get occasional emails that say "someone has posted to xxxxx" on absolutepunk, which we used to frequent (obviously) back in 2003.
hilarious that someone commented that some of us would be writing for spin or somesuch. actually, a bunch of us started a new music website, which subsequently folded.
this used to be a great place to find people with similar taste in music, and just shoot the shit and act like fools. hopefully it still is.
