just got it saturday, already in love. i just wish i could record one thing and watch another.

we got a dvr in our house back in march when we got our new tv. needless to say i love the hell out of it. tonight i let my sister watch her stupid show that's gonna get cancelled in a month at 9:00 then watched heroes after weeds was over at 10:30. i also don't have to deal with the awkwardness of watching shows like deadwood with my parents. gotta love today's technology.

i'd just like to add that even though i don't have a tivo-brand dvr, i still use the verb "tivoing" to describe recording a show.

God invented cappers for one purpose; To treat them like slaves to the anonymous of the internet and deliver me my favourite tv shows in high quality and at quick speeds.

I have dvr, its awesome

i dont have to miss the only time frasier comes on (middle of the night) and i can tape all the scrubs that are on during the day when im at class/work.

if i didnt have dvr, i probably wouldnt watch much tv anymore lol

I have both Tivo and DVR. Tivo has much features...but DVR can record two shows at once in HD. Although the Series 3 Tivo can do that also...it costs $800 plus the subscription fees.
