Did they win the online poll for which band to make it to the cover? Because I remember voting for them to get on it.

I really like the cover. I love Rise Against. Now all I need is an Against Me! cover and life would be good, right Scott? ;)

AP is really pissing me off, they had a Rise Against article in the July issue, and why does it say Underoath on the bottom of this new one, another article???, I dont hate Rise Against, but give the cover to a band that hasnt been featured in AP, articles on bands that need more exposure. I can think of a thousand bands that I would just love to read about, bands that I I hardly know, but instead I have to read about the same fucking bands every month, I love AP but come on.

The Underoath piece next month is more of a conclusion to this month's cover story, since it ended so ominously. We talk to the band after they reconvened and address just what happened.
As for bands you think need more exposure: Fire away. Please tell me who we've been neglecting.

please just dont put underoath on the cover ever again....i like them but i think they've been on there enough in such a short period of time.
other than that...one of the best magazines out there.

As Cities Burn (obviously ha), The Chariot, Gasoline Heart, The Higher, Lorene Drive, Owen, Rookie Of The Year, Okkervil River, Two Gallants. I mean of course I could name a ton of bands, I know AP is a popular magazine and you have to put popular bands on there, and I think you have done some blurbs on some of the bands I named, but if I saw an As Cities Burn article in there I would go nuts, but I just hate seeing the same bands in there, bands that get a couple page article and in the next issue or so get on the cover, and there really isnt a story to tell. Ap is my favourite magazine, and I do love most of the articles (The Matches, Mewithoutyou), but I buy this mag regardless of who is on the cover and who is covered, I pick it up without even browsing it, Id just like to see some bands that I truely love in there, but you cant please everyone.

I was guessing Saosin would be on the cover, but this is even better. They deserve getting the cover for putting out such a great album and being such good guys. I'm excited for them!
