I wouldn't say I'm hardcore, but I enjoy anime.

I doubt I've seen any of the underground stuff.

But I really loved Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll, Akira, and a few others.

umm if youve seen any of the Tenchi series its a bit like that minus most of the humor and the space travel, and sorta similar to Inuyasha if youve seen that... can't think of any more mainstream comparisons...

I'm filipino if that is some kind of asian but I'm not really into anime. but i remember this one time this fucking 9 year old kid i know was talking about dragon ball stuff on the net. and i was like "Hey have you ever heard of the new Dragon Ball, its called Dragon Ball: Hentai" and i told him to search for it on the net. its funny because Hentai is like Anime porn or something. So that kid is totally gonna look at Cartoons screwing, hahhahaha.
