Hunter City Madness is a five man rock influenced metal core band from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The like-minded ideas of these young men took shape and combined to form a hellish tribute to the eternal outlaw, the rebel and the renegade. Armed to the teeth with a ferocious musical approach and a take-no-prisoners attitude Hunter City Madness will grip you tight, kick your ass to next Sunday and then buy you a beer afterwards. With blistering fury, they take the stage and pull-no-punches. They leave their blood and sweat on the floor and when the smoke clears and the amplifier’s dissident tones recede; you will know that you have just experienced Hunter City Madness. Drawing inspiration from a veritable melting pot of artistic influences including southern rock, metal, punk and classic rock, these fun-loving party animals take their love for the music they create and spread it like a wildfire for all to feel the burn. Since the start of the band in the spring of 2009 – HCM has played over twenty shows all over Ontario and Quebec with notable bands. In the year that they have been together, they've managed to play two cross Ontario tours in 2009 and 2010, win two college battle of the bands, obtain media coverage from numerous sources including HardTimes.ca and Pain TV, music in regular rotation on various radio stations, gain endorsements from Shred Clothing, and record a seven song EP “See You in Hell”. After a year and a half of writing, recording, touring, and building up a solid fan base, HCM is gearing up to take the country by storm with their wild antics and furious music. These guys bring the party to the stage every time and aim to make sure everyone in the crowd is having a blast.
With the release of their debut EP "See You in Hell," Hunter City Madness plan to come out swinging full force. The EP has received numerous positive reviews from sources like MetalRules.com, HardTimes, and IndieLove; and is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Napster, and more.
