I saw her inbetween exams today. She says it was just some spur of the moment thing and she doesn't quite know why. I don't know if that's good news or bad news. I guess it didnt mean anything but how am I supposed to trust her? The she said she doesn't know why the girl that told me, that we're both friends with, is mad at her. I really didn't get a chance to talk about anything else, but she's calling me later. :-/

You're confused? You made two advances and she rejected you both times. I think she was pretty straightforward. Look, if you see a girl you like, and approach her about being friends, well, they'll usually be cool with it. Everyone likes friends. But you're being the jerk if you decide that her being friends with you obligates her to like you. I have a lot of female friends, and if they suddenly told me they liked me all along and wanted to date me, I would be a little angry and a little freaked. First, they had ulterior motives for being my friend and were dishonest. Second, they've become my friend and it's weird to hook up with them after. You guys need to stop blaming women for your inability to properly interpret "signals."
