I just recently purchased the tab book for "Dude Ranch" and I was kinda surprised when I saw chords like these

e|--5--
b|--5--
g|--6--
d|--7--
a|--7--
e|--5--

on songs like "Dick Lips"! Well, maybe Tom uses these chords on the album version, but I think he doesn't use them live, or does he?? I've never seen him doing barre live... Does anyone have a clue??

tab books are usually somewhat wrong. i have also never seen tom bar a chord either.

haha why would you need to buy a blink 182 tab book?

there are plenty of right tabs on the net.

yeah i have that tab book too....he might have used to barre it way back in the day ...but yeah...nowadays i don't see him barreing....i have enema of the state and take off your pants an jacket tab books too and there are no barres in there

eh i like tom's voice. it's all sort of high and stuff. i wish i could sing like that. but my voice is too low. plus i can't sing in the first place.

the tab books always have stupid chords in em... i think its just the dude who wrote the tabs trying to be cool...

Tom never plays that... Its obvious he doesnt because i got a tab of the net and it doesnt have chords like that and it sounds identical to the song so yeah..... why would tom waste his time doing a chord like that when he can play two strings and make it sound exactly the same/???

i don't think tom even knows what a major chord is, so i doubt he used one.
the thing that i find most offsetting, is why even look up a blink tab? if you know one song, take the same progression and change the root.
