I noticed something with these shows...whenever anyone bashes president Bush, everyone in the audience claps and cheers in a way overexaggerated way... but when they bash Clinton, people are like "oooooooooo!" as if something terribly taboo was said

anyone else getting kind of tired of this annoying, unoriginal trend?

please save your predictable "I hate Bush" comments

They both bash the president, but the difference is Colbert is actually funny. Stewart relies a lot on taking small clips of Bush saying something, often taking things out of context, and then basically calling him stupid. I think Colbert is a better interview too.

I prefer Stewart over Colbert, but they're both funny...Colbert is terrible at the interviews though.

It's a liberal comedy show that caters to the liberal college kid demographic. I really don't know what you expect.

This is nothing more then pandering to your audience.

If you don't like it why not just change the channel? Neither show is particularly funny or would be missed.....

I'm kinda tired of the way people overclap on their hatred for Bush, but I still enjoy people like Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert making fun of him.

I enjoy The Daily Show a little more though, although I love Colbert's faux arrogance.

jon stewarts interview of pervez musharaff of pakistan was really good.

i think jon is more in tune with his deomographics though i see stephen becoming huge next year. colberts speech about how morning new programs is srtill one of the most hilarious pieces on yoiutube.com

Colbert at the Bush roast dinner was hilarious.

that was one of the best things i've seen in years.

honestly, who made the decision to have colbert speak there? did they not realize that he's a satarist?

and i love that he didn't just talk shit about the administration. i'm really glad he called out the press as well.

i though that colbert show with jane fonda he had this week was hilarious, but i like colbert more then the daily show-it seems like all their good correspondents are gone.

why don't you say you are tired of the people who WRITE the show, not the person speaking. there is more to a show than a camera and a host.

whoever is involved from the host down to the guy that wipes their ass in the bathroom...the shows just aren't as funny anymore. It got old.

I'll admit the daily show has dropped off some... but come one... the colbert report is still hilarious.

its alright, I just get tired of hearing about the same shit anymore. We know the government sucks. We don't need 2 shows to tell us that.

id agree i stopped watching the dailey show months ago. jon stewart just isn't as funny on his own and now that both the steves are gone it is kinda bland. colbert report is much funnier. i will say this though:jon is a better interviewer then stephen is.
