the way they play for any sort of tv show or internet thing doesnt compare to seeing them live... theyre much better live.

i could have done without the 80s solo in the bridge to Liar... otherwise it was a good performance.. Decade was dead-on, every aspect.

they're vocals sound really good here. last time i saw them live the vocals were off quite a bit. But that was like 2 years ago.

i liked the 80's solo thing he did there and i agree with the Decade performance. that song never sounded soooooooo good.

Adam sounds really good in this performance. Let me state again how upset I am that TBS always skips Minneapolis on their tours. Hopefully someone from the band or associated with them will see this or one of my other rants about it...

No I'm pretty positive it was not. I've seen them quite a few times and they have sounded even better. It all depends on the night. But Adam's vocals live have been getting better and better since Fred and Matt joined.

I think Fred is on it a lot more than people realize. He also had a huge influence musically, which is why I enjoy the record so much.

i didn't think i would ever say this, but fred and matt have made this band a lot better. fred is an amazing guitarist and his voice is on during these songs. adam is not so much, but what do you expect. he still puts on a hell of a live performance.

95% of this performance was pretty darn good. Some of it was off-key a tad, but I won't complain because I love the band.

i think the reason adam is off key during some of it is because they lowered the tuning of their guitars, thus allowing him to hit the notes more easily but throwing him off a little.

That was really good. I think all the "Mics are for singing, not swinging" stuff was a slap in the face to Adam. He seems to have really improved. And I thought the solo during Liar was really cool. I think it's a bit boring otherwise. And to the kid who said the solo was out of key, you're a fool. Do you really think a guy with a degree in Jazz performance is going to play a solo out of key?

Adam thinks faster than he talks, some people can relate to that. He use to stutter real bad but has come along way. How many of us'ems do well in front of a camera or singing to thousands. Got to be a bit nerve racking

i don't think it was. When Blink-182 did their aol live session, the singing sounded terrible. Plus, why would they keep the out of tune pre-chorus on 'liar' and autotune the rest???

Yeah, I agree My Blue Heaven was really good.
It was also really funny. Like at the beginning when Matt is talking to the camera.
;-) Gotta' love that guy.
