Thought this performance was great, but does anyone know what song they played? I didnt recognize it, they didn't say on the show, and I searched lyrics sites and I couldn't find it. Is it a new one?

yea i was confused of what the hell song they played but i looked into it and found out its called "the trees get wheeled away" its unreleased and apparently they play it live alot.
it was a damn good performance.

Damn, my hairs like that. And it's not a hippie band Seth. The majority of Conor's songs have been more folky than anything else. His more recent work reflects the influence of country and folk on him. Hippie musics tends to be long and experimental, such as jam bands and psychadelic rock. Bright Eyes songs don't have solos or 20 minute improvs. Even if you don't like Conor, it's hard to deny that he is a prodigy.

The secret to Conor's hair is that it kind of just happens. I have longish hair, and I got out of bed one day and was like, what the hell?! It's kind about parting it far to one side, letting half hang down, and bringing the rest across your eyes. Then don't shower for three days. Voila.

Bright Eyes is perfectly acceptable. Even if it were a hippie band, which I already clearly explained that it was not, we could talk about them here. But, I am glad that you feel able to act as the spokesman for a movement that was entering it's third generation around the time of your birth. Well done.
