i'm rather disappointed. the war was one of my favorite songs for such a long time...but this new stuff sounds generic and boring to me

i really love the new stuff though. i havent had the chance to listen online, but live it was great

The opening of "Frequently Baby" caught me off guard...I thought I was on the wrong Myspace or something.

I dunno, it's pretty catchy, but I'm not sure I like it in the same vein as Everday Behavior

well said - that is exactly what i thought! i thought that the music was coming from another site i was on.
but, it is very catchy stuff and i can't wait to hear more stuff.

If this is their progression, I like it, it's just going to take a few listens to get used to. They've always had an ear for writing that melodic and catchy song, and so it makes sense as their next move, especially on a major label.

I still need to see them live though...I've heard it's amazing

Agreed...and Melee deserves it, they've already proven to me they can make a quality cd.

Also, just noticed this:
