after you get it peirced and it heals up and everything, how long can u keep the peircing without anything it before it closes up. any ideas or does anyone know?

i got mine pierced in january. and now i have to take it out while i work, and i work about 7 hours a day 3 days a week at the job that makes me take it out. when i get home, the hole has shrunk and i have to jam the ring through the hole. it hurts, but i can save it. hopefully i wont forget one day and let it close up...i'll cry.

yeah, my friend has a lip ring and he loses a lot of them, and when he does its funny because he panics and thinks its going to close up. So we put like a safety pin in there and stuff. hehe

yeah def. the lip peirced. Its hella sexy on guys. I wanna get mine done for my 16th birthday. But i have basketball all year around for 2 hours a day a couple days a week and i didnt know if it would close up. But thanks guys for the comments.

because lip piercings are hotter than eyebrow piercings. but....of course that's just my opinion. :D

Once I'm done working with the kiddies this summer, I want to get an industrial in my cartilege. I was thinking about doing my eyebrow as well. Lip is a bit much for me.

and devin...lip ring isnt so bad...or too much...trust me, i was freaked out when i first got it, but still! it's my favorite piercing. also! i like monroe piercings, but im afriad it'll look funny if i have that and a lip ring. *sigh*
I'm not worried about the pain, I was a fucking lacrosse goalie for god sake's. We're about the craziest people in all of sports. I just think a lip ring would be a bit shocking to the folks at Princeton. They're just a tad conservative there.

for real....my parents are actually contemplating NOT being douchebags and letting me get a lip ring. and if there is a place where you work, and they don't let you wear the jewelry, isn't that unconstitutional...discrimination because of appearance or something?
