I saw spata at the conservatory in oklahoma recently and they where amazing. they played at small club but it was packed, hopefuly next time they will get to play at a bigger venue. The whole entire crowd was totally into what sparta was doing that night...amazing show.I also have to give kudos to lola ray I have never heard of them befor but i was really impressed by them and there cd isnt half bad...better than alot of the junk thats out ther today.

Only time I ever saw them was with Dredg, Hot Water Music and Glassjaw. Needless to say it was spectacular. I was not a fan of Porcelain, but I still love Wiretap Scars. Are you going to say it's better than Wiretap Scars Jared? Is it more in the vein of the former or the latter, or somewhere new? I'm debating on whether or not I want to pick this up.

In the new issue of alternative press it gave sparta's new album a 4. it might be worth buying.

It will be interesting to see if they change their sound up any. When ATDI split it was easy to see who contributed what to the band. While I don't like The Mars Volta, they do try to keep things interesting. I feel Sparta, while more easily likeable, just pumps out the same kind of stuff without much invention. Should be a decent album none the less.

Threes is great. This is the album where they really find their sound.

I also can't wait for this tour.

The Black Cat. I haven't been there in almost two years, and now I will have a good reason to go.

Threes is absolutely amazing and blows Porcelain out of the water. One of the better albums of this year.

At least it isn't Longview, which is where I notice a lot of bands stopping by these days.
