alright i'm posting a poem.. there's 3 possible results.

a. it will get stolen
b. i will get flamed
c. nobody will read it in the first place

we'll see. this is the most random/obscure thing i've ever written, i did it last night. not to sure why:

You don't have to think too hard about it
I'm confused enough for the world
The poems spin down into a pit
with spider webs tangled in words
Between every word is an infinite space
among which photographs search for a place
to belong is to be wrong but being wrong isn't right
Images of myself gone, too blurry in daylight
A picture can say a thousand words i suppose
In this case a twisted moment was froze
between my mind and a hard place that was made
I pried it out with a dull rusty blade
Cause and effect can be a real funny thing
especially when we don't know half of what we drink
The poison of trying too hard to be clever
The hole of the bullet that wanted to be better
Tried more than the others it won
no credit given to the gun
This might be what the future holds
This could be or so we've been told
but as far as i know yesterday
is as near as the future can be

I know you said that you thought it might get stolen, but I'm curious to know if I can use it. I think it's pretty good and I play sorta Brand New style songs and think it'd work with some stuff I wrote. But if you don't want me too that's cool... I just thought it was creative...
Thanx for your time,
joshua J. stifter

i would be happy to let you use it except there's a good chance that i'm going to for a song in my band.. otherwise i would say yeah no problem haha.

that's okay...If you have anything else that you aren't going to use I would really like to. I write my own stuff, but also like to getother influences in my lyrics.
Thanx,
Josh
