I crushed lemon into the pink-jumble of peaks and ice.
His sweat formed canals down my shoulder
as he pressed his forehead further into my skin.
“Drown me, I’m hot as fuck.”
He watched me collide the arctic with his cup; his arms
ribboned my body, reaching
for the drinks.
I gave him a private smile and sunk against his body.
We were a gyre of heat and bones, and I felt his fingers
thread into my hair.
He brought his face closer,
and my hands faded further
as I grabbed a cup and pressed my mouth against the glass.
I drank until I saw his lips
parted through the crystal.
“I can’t drown you anymore.”
He laughed into the hallow of my neck,
“I’ll find other ways”.
And then he kissed me.
(I'm horrible with poem titles and I never name them. I just threw this on. Help me with the title if you want.)
