well, i gave it one listen on my drive to a buddy's place.

Pick this up the day it comes out. such a fun cd, and i imagine it'll grow on me even more after repeated listens. "All I Hear Is Static" and "Stay Tuned" were two that stood out for some reason, but the whole disc sounded good, albeit some stuff did sound similar.

i've never listened to their old stuff, but i'm going to try to find some ASAP.

It's fun as shit so far although it seems that almost every single song on it follows the same formula.

agreed. that is detracting from my overall enjoyment, but at least they keep it to a trim 24 or so minutes. still, quite enjoyable stuff.

Picking this up on vinyl at my local record store on on Wednesday. Can't wait.
