Very Important --- Help Roze Harding !!!

Roze Harding is a very important member of the staff here at absolutepunk.net and you may have seen her post this in the new's lately:

Seven years ago I was diagnosed with a very serious disease. In the past, my parents' insurance covered all of my medical bills, but now that I am older, I no longer have medical insurance. The struggle to stay healthy has become rougher in the past few months and I desperately need to see my doctor and start treatments again, but the cost of medicine is too much for me to handle by myself. In an effort to raise money for my medicine, I have set up some auctions on Ebay. I put up a lot of band t-shirts, old records, memorabilia, and other random items, and it would mean a lot to me if you could check out my auctions by clicking here. All of the auctions start at $1. That has to be one of the most meaningful post's ive ever read in my entire life. Roze Harding is very sick and she need's our help. If I had any money to spend, I would buy everything she has up for sale on those auctions, but unfortunately I don't and that makes me sad. She's worked up the courage to tell the world about her sickness and she's extremely scared about what might happen to her in the future. She can't afford the medication for her sickness she need's, on her own. If you have any extra cash head over to those ebay auctions and buy something. She would appreciate it beyond anything else, and this is my way of trying to help her out. By letting you all know of what you have to do. You have a mission, succeed. Help Roze live a normal life like any other person by supporting her through these immensely tough times in her life. We're all rooting for you Roze! Hang In There! Best Of Luck.

I don't think she really wants to reveal that. She had a hard time even telling everyone she was sick let alone what she was diagnosed with. All who knew before was her family, she didnt even tell her friends. That's how badly she need's to raise money, its that serious that she told everyone to get the money.

I'm usually as broke as the next guy, but I certainly will bid. They way I see it, what's 10-15 bucks? It's just a show or a cd. Having had family members with serious illnesses, I realize how expensive this can be. The fact that Roze forget her pride and asked for help tells me that this is very serious. Let's show that the scene cares and give Roze our supporrt.

Agreed..... Its hard when something like this happens to you or one of your family members or friends but what you need to realize is that you have to go on with your life and hope for the best but do everything to can to beat this, keep your spirits high and anything can be possible.

I would like to quote a great band who got me through many nights wondering what the hell to do when in trouble with this situation

"You will beat this starting now and you will always be around.
I'm there to monitor your breathing
I will watch you while you're sleeping.
I will keep you safe and sound."

Honestly...when you feel helpless in a situation like this I think this song helps....helps me (no this isnt one of those cheesy "the music saved me!" bit) well.....maybe it is alittle bit
But honestly music takes you away from the hardships you go through everyday....I hope she (you if you are reading this) get better and I encourage anyone reading this to bid to help her on her quest to beating this because she will beat this but it will be much easier on her if you help.

Wow you guys, your support means more to me than anything. Thank you so much for making this thread, Brandon, it means a lot.
I think I've raised over $300 in the auctions I put up. Not all the money has come in yet, so I'm not sure how much I have for sure.

After I'm done sending out all the stuff for these auctions, I plan on putting up a bunch of other stuff. Most of it won't be band stuff though... just 80's memorabilia, and crap I have lying around my house.

Anyway... thanks again for writing such nice things. It means so much to know that you guys care about me. Your support helps me more than anything right now.

i already thought of where im gonna put this info asap, or actually ill jsut post the link now and say theres more coming soon.. i have a very close friend who died of cancer. although she knew of treatments that could help she lacked the funds, even with fundraising attempts.. ill help as much as i can. and guys even if youre broke , try just bidding like 3 dollars on something that hasnt been bid on yet, it means way more to her than you
