was on MTV2 last night. on that 'subterranean' show. i dont know if they showed one of their videos because i came in late. but they wer being interviewed throughout the show.

i was never into bright eyes.. for some odd reason i was always skeptical of them. and then i saw them on a letterman a couple nights ago, and today i bought the "lifted or the story is in the soil, keep you ear to the ground" (what a name)... and it's so awesome. the lyrical value is up there with the best of the best

Ya, I actually like Fevers And Mirrors better. Even parts of Letting Off The Happiness appeal to me more than Lifted. Lifted has real high points and then some real low points. Fevers And Mirrors is a better all around record.

I think my favorite Bright Eyes record if Every Day and Every Night, even though it's an ep. Hosting Subterannean just means that you get interviewed. It was ok, they didn't reveal anything surprising. And the "Bowl of Oranges" vid was played. But it's been around for a while now.

Order from the Saddle Creek site, they only charge like $11 for a full-length and shipping is about a buck.

i live in a nothing town.. the best buy was just built about a half-hour away from where I live and thats the best selection I can find for music.

I bought lifted a while ago and the only song I liked at first was you will, but now ive listened to it a bit more and i love it, the lyrics are great, but Haligh, Haligh is still my favorite bright eyes song

I still go with Every Day and Every Night, it was Neely O'Hara, A New Arrangement, and A Perfect Sonnet. Maybe it's only 25 minutes long, but it's glorious.

bright eyes is awesome. as lame as it sounds, i actually think i like lifted the best. method acting and false advertising are two of my favorite bright eyes songs.

but i think desaparecidos is even better than bright eyes.
