It's right here.

I thought tonight's episode was great, even though the 90 seconds that they were "in trouble" for...just wasn't funny. Meet The Press With Juliet Lewis, though...that had me dying.

Thoughts?

haven't watched it yet. I was busy tonight, but I'll watch it tomorrow. I'm really enjoying this show so far.

I thought it was really good, yet again. I also think that the introduction of the Vanity Fair reporter will introduce a new storyline for the next few episodes that will keep things moving.

True. I think the thing they alluded to in the teaser for next week, putting Harry and Matt together this early in the show, wouldn't be very smart.

that show sucks

They won't, they almost did it a thousand times in Sports Night but they never did. They'll still be separate I think. No less, I cannot see how anyone can think this show sucks. Sure it isn't Sports Night, but man, it's fast, funny and has amazing characters. What isn't to like about this show?

I think this show is destined for Sports Night-like failure in the end. It's a great show, but won't have the steam to last very long.

They are already introducing characters that can be removed/added at their whim, which is a trick a show usually uses when they are running low on ideas

Yeah...but 20 million viewers a week? I don't think Sports Night was ever doing that good...and it was before Sorkin had developed himself w/ The West Wing.

I tried watching this last week because the cast seemed solid and it sounded like a good idea, but what I watched was soooo boring and I didn't laugh once. There's already so many other shows out this season that are much better, I can't waste my time on it.

I've been recording every episode and finally got to watching them all last night. Pretty good, nothing epic but it kept me entertained.

I'm definitely a fan of Studio 60, but seeing Christine Lahti on there just made me mad that Jack & Bobby got cancelled, I fucking loved that show.

Anyways, my only real problem with this show is that the "skits" they have just aren't funny. The rest of the writing on the show is well done and can be really funny at times, but the skits just aren't. It seems like it shouldn't really be a problem, but it really bugs me. Hopefully it changes soon because I do like this show so far.

yeah, but half of that viewership is on the Sorkin name, and the people who wanted a kind of carry-over from the West Wing.

Had Sports Night come out after the West Wing, it'd probably be huge too, actually, with society the way it is now, with ESPN and sports being so big, it'd probably be bigger than CSI

I really enjoyed all the episodes I've seen. But, the only problem is that I keep expecting these funny skit ideas since they're on a SNL-like show, but all of it is unrealistically unfunny stuff.

I think it's because the skits aren't supposed to be the main focus of the show. It's more about what goes on in their work to get the skits on air.

I think this show lasts at least 5 seasons.

I would be suprised if this show made it past 2 seasons. Ratings are poor and people don't seem to care. Plus, it's boring as shit.

You're stupid.

That was a little blunt. But the writing is great, the acting is great, it's an all around good show. No, the skits written for the show aren't funny; but c'mon, that's not what the show is about in the first place.

And I don't know how you don't find Harriet attractive.

That's all that matters. I follow about 15 shows on TV - I don't have time for this snoozefest of a show. And I wouldn't even fuck Harriet if she paid me. She's probably the ugliest "hot character" on a TV show ever.

I really enjoy this show a lot. I would agree the skits are pretty non-funny, but I do laugh at other parts of the show, and I just find it very entertaining/interesting. I hope it lasts, but I'm not too confident it will.

Bump because I just finished watching it. Those last few episodes were seriously powerful. Maybe the only thing I wish they would have done was give Tom and his girlfriend some more screen time. Another amazing show gone too soon.

Haha.

Anyway, just watched the pilot episode via netflix instant, and I liked it a lot. I'll plan on moving through the series, but does it kind of lose steam down the line or just get better? Trying to figure out why it was canceled...

No viewers. I thought it got better as it went along, personally.

I think it started off good and stayed good. And could've easily stayed good for a number of seasons.
