for what it's worth, i hate midtown because of this. even if all they say about drive-thru is true. i have also started to hate drive-thru recently because they are basically forcing finch to be this huge radio monster. i don't want to lose finch to bunch of 10 year olds. :(

but they make music for the sole purpose of making money and getting laid. most of what gabe writes about is fiction.

well i dont listen to them because of what he sings about.... They have good music and good singing rhythms....

Most bands make up what they sing about.... It doesnt mean people dont have the problems that the band sings about...

Even though the band hasnt gone through the problems they sing about it still lets people know that other people do go through them problems.....


I dunno the point is i dont listen to midtowns words... i just reckon they sound good.....

fair enough. i personally am into more heart-felt bands like brand new and taking back sunday. i think it's more impressive when people write songs based on personal experience.

hahaha im just saying with this band i just like their sound because i know they are heartless bastards...

I love TBS and Brand New.... I like bands because of what they sing about but i like midtown because of how they sound...

I always hear about how the guys in Midtown are arrogant assholes, etc, etc...but for what it's worth, they were by far the nicest band I've ever met, and I've met many bands. I mostly hear people complain about Gabe, who was exceptionally sweet to me. Tyler hung out and chatted, and Heath was asking people for hugs. And Rob was ridiculously nice, and I didn't even run into him at a show, so he wasn't "obligated" to be nice to me because I paid to see a show. Maybe they are big assholes and I just caught them on a good day. :::shrugs::: But they were genuinely nice and humble to me. Yeah.

midtown has been my fav band since theyve started. i love those guys. seen them like eight times. theyr not arrogant. you cant expect a band to be in their best moods every time you see them. everytime ive seen them, at least two of the members have been walking around talking to people and signing anything. rob ALWAYS talks to people. and about the drive thru controversy, drive thru blows. they use to sign good bands, when they picked up finch, the starting line, and something corporate all in like one summer. but come on, senses fail and steel train. what are they turning into.

I think some people exaggerate(both good and bad) how a band acts.
The fans naturally wanna say the band is as sweet as possible, and then others dont give the band any credit.

I don't really know jackshit about Midtown. I think their music is pretty good, but as far as people, all I can go by is interviews. From that they seem like they are cool guys... but then again, like I said, I don't know jackshit about em.
