so very excited for this game. the new trick system looks amazing and the open-ended world is supposed to be enormous. there should be a demo up on the xbox live marketplace pretty soon..

i can already safely say that im gonna blow away months of my life on this one. this is the skater's madden.

I haven't read much on it other than the slowdown thing where you control each foot. But it looks good.

pretty much what he said, you go into slow motion in the air, and then each analog stick controls a foot, so you flick the stick forward, backward and diagonally to kick it in certain directions, respectively. you can kick it multiple times to make these insane tricks. it looks especially cool when you kick it in mid-rotation. it looks really fun.

The trailer without all this slow down stuff stuff on it makes the game look awesome, but...I'm not too keen on the ones with it. The speed at which the boards flip around just looks even more ridiculous than ever. It'll still be fun, but I'd read that Neversoft were making this one more realistic. Ah well.

Did I read correctly that part of this game will be the School II? If so, just more reason for me to buy this.

I'll be renting this on 360 when it comes out. I hated Underground and AW. They steered off of, you know, skateboarding? Hopefully P8 will return to that and bring back the good old days.

yeah they have gone downhill, i havent been impressed with any releases since the first few. But im glad they revamped the trick system, this should make it more challenging (hopefully).
