I told you all about 3 weeks ago maybe that the Spurs were going to win the NBA Championship. And tonight, it came true. Who else watched the game? The 19-0 run in the 4th was amazing and it was sweet David Robinson got to go out on top. Anyone else care?

You gotta give The Nets some credit for winning 2 games. Alot of people didn't think they would even get that much. I just hope Kidd doesn't leave NJ, Tony Parker sucks.

i hate the spurs. but i love that they beat the lakers. and duncan stole the mvp from the man who really deserved it, kevin garnett.

yeah right...first off....yao will never be an impact player on the rockets b/c stevie "franchise" and mobley take to many touches so yao never gets involved enough in the game, secondly, houston plays crappy defense, no one cares about glenn rice.....and I was going to go on about something else but i lost track...damnit

If Kevin Garnett was such an MVP don't you think he could have taken his team past the first round once in the past 7 years? MVP's are supposed to be able to carry an entire team through the playoffs and the season. Its a common occurence when Duncan leads the team in blocks, points, assists and boards

duncan is basically a point gard in the middle he makes things happen, he carried the team through their 19-0 run last night, durring that run he didnt score a single point but he made alot of assists/blocks/rebounds, duncan is the best player in nba, u cant get any better than that

It's a great thing for David "Mr. Nice Guy" Robinson to finish his stellar carreer with a REAL championship ring (as Bill Simmons says, the 99 season did NOT happen), and Tim Duncan is an unbelievable player (almost got a quadruple double last night) and he works his ass off.

Having said that, they are the two most bland personalities in the NBA. They have all the fundamental skills, but no real flair. So yes, they deserve to win, but not many people enjoyed watching it.

Definitely true, I won't argue against that.

But come on, wasn't it great to watch Game 1 of the 2001 Lakers/76ers final? Iverson goin nuts all game, getting slammed to the floor by the big guys and then coming back like a pit bull? Shaq owning the inside like always, and Kobe showing off his insane athleticism?

But San Antonion deserved to win this year, hands down. They were the best team (though I wish Chris Webber hadn't gone down)

heh spurs didnt deserve it, every team they played was injured (lakers- shaq, kobe, fox, george), (mavs- nowitzki), they didnt play the kings because of webber

spurs blow, next year theyre losin in the first round

i knew it, i called it. Sry this is a little late post i just got back from the east coast. Hehe i kept yelling go spurs while i passed new jersey. It was a perfect ending for the Admiral. And next year the spurs are only going to get better. Fuck Jason Kidd, if they get Jermaine O Neal theres no stopping the spurs.
