its a book by a guy who grew up in the dc hardcore scene in the 80's much of the book has to do with the struggles the new "emo" bands had with hardcore fans at shows and like the whole second half covers the careers of fugazi, embrace, and rites of spring. for anyone confused about emo or anyone who wants to learn a little history...its an awsome book
