All Kinds of Brand New Information

Brand New (http://www.absolutepunk.net/brandnew) has updated their website with information on their new album, contests, preorders, bsides, tour-dates, and more.
Beginning Monday we will start a pre-order for The New Album. It will be available via merchdirect, smartpunk and interpunk. We have created a special CD single for the track "Sowing Season (Yeah)", which will be free with the purchase of every pre-order. It will have art that is separate from the album and we must say, it's quite awesome. It also has a b-side that will only be used on this single. You'll have full details on Monday.

We're also getting ready to start the biggest BN contest that we've ever undertaken. We're scheming prizes today. The contest will run for four weeks. We'll also have all of the fun things like web banners, aim icons and everything involving new album artwork. This stuff is, like, seriously coming. To be truthful, we're terrified of this contest because there's so much to play with. One component even includes us sending you packs of stickers/posters/pins...basically, we're getting ready to deal with lots of paper cuts and stamp-glued tongues.

Hopefully you saw the in-stores posted. We're also trying to figure out a few more headline shows to drop into the current D/C tour...it's so fun to see everyone in St Louis having kittens.

Lastly, we're very excited that after many years of broken english emails from Europeans, we will be announcing dates oustside of the UK for January. It's looking like Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands. Oh, and before every in the UK starts screaming...we thought that we would throw about seven shows there right afterwards :) We're securing the bill right now. We'll be announcing the shows next week.

As you can see, everything is starting to fire up. We continue to promise that, whenever possible, we'll post everything here early/first. The storm is coming.

i agree. that was when i first saw brand new live. i had very high expectations and i wasn't let down

in the top 3 of shows i've seen which is amazing since it was only 7 songs and about 45 minutes. very great crowd

im definately pre-ordering this cd on monday as well as buying it the day its released...

is there anymore possible dates for their tour with DC because im from minneapolis and weve got nothing besides when they already passed through on their headlining tour...other then that nothing, and its gonna suck majorly if i cant see them at all before they head to the uk for their tour over there..cause im hoping to see them once the new records out but before they head overseas...so anymore dates???

other then that, im stoked and cant wait to fiiiinally get this new record that took them over 3 years to make...

the way i see it, this album will make or break them...either it will completely redefine them as a band as they constantly said it would and it will leave every brand new fan finally satisfied with new material and they will be loved that much more for another 10 years, or if it somehow sucks they probly will be hated on by alot of people that have been waiting for so long to have new music...

me personally, i will love them forever regardless of what anyone says or thinks of them..cause ive never ever gotten sick of them before..
